MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS
Mental health in our society is not talked about enough. So much of the pain and destruction we see in the world today can be traced back to someone who was silently suffering. Someone mentally and emotionally unstable. Someone who didn’t feel safe to speak up.
It’s time to take a stand and say: enough is enough.
Every year, 8 million people die due to mental health-related struggles. That’s 14.3% of global deaths.
That’s not just a statistic — it’s a tragedy.
People walk through life feeling like they have to hide their pain, pretend to be okay, and carry the weight alone. That shouldn't be the norm.
As Christians, we are called to be different. We are called to break the stigma.
We are called to talk about it, to share our voices, and to create safe spaces for healing.
Because when we speak up, the weight becomes lighter — and the shame begins to lose its power.
One of the reasons I started this blog was to help myself, while also helping others, navigate the messiness of life. And let’s be honest — life is messy. Sometimes, it’s overwhelmingly difficult.
But even in the chaos, God is better.
He is present even when you can’t feel Him.
He is working even when you can’t see Him.
He is calling your name, even in the silence.
I believe healing is possible through Jesus. Maybe not a full cure for every specific mental illness, but hope is possible. Peace is possible. Purpose is possible — through Christ.
Life is hard.
Even with Jesus, it doesn’t always get easier.
But what He gives us is greater than ease —
He gives us a reason to wake up, a purpose for our pain, and a hope that never runs dry.
Mental illness can be isolating. But with the Lord, we don’t have to walk through it alone.
We can change the statistics.
We can turn evil into good.
We can walk the road of healing — together.
Let’s rise up.
Let’s speak out.
Let’s heal.
Your story is not over — it’s just beginning.
And God’s not done writing it.
